Summer Blast 2010
Summer is here and with
summer comes the Karate World summer blast. Summer blast is an
exciting program with; new fun drills in class, special summer blast
days, and a summer blast contest.
Attached you will find
the Karate World calendar for June, July, and August. You will see
many days noted as Summer Blast days, these will be fun and exciting
days with everything from Spar Wars training to Ice Cream to Speed
Drills to much more. Also the dates for our summer break, Club
classes, and other special events.
We are also very
excited about our summer blast spirit contest. Students will begin
earning tickets June 1st – August 7th. We
will have a drawing for the prizes on August 7th @
10:45). Below are the rules and prizes, good luck.
Tickets will be awarded
as follows:
Attendance 1
Tickets
Students will receive 1 point for each class that is taken.
Bringing a guest to
Graduation Ceremonies 3
Tickets
Students will receive 3 tickets for each guest (non-family member)
They
bring to graduation. The student must introduce the guest to
Master Stevens or Master. Jett, and write their name on the guest
list
Attending Club Class 2
Tickets
Students attending Black Belt Club class will receive 5 tickets.
The
student must sign the black belt club sign-up sheet to receive
credit for the class.
Bringing a friend to
Buddy Day
5 Tickets
Students bringing a friend to buddy day will receive 5 tickets.
Note the
friend must have an application signed by a parent if they are a
minor
Performing in a Demo
5 Tickets
Students are encouraged to participate in any demos we may have over
the summer.
We
have no demos scheduled at this time, but will announce any that may
come up.
Enrolling in the
Leadership or BBC for pee wees
10 Tickets
Those
who upgrade their membership will receive 10 tickets
Sponsoring a friend
10 Tickets
Everyone knows someone who can benefit from the Martial Arts. Refer
a member
to
our school and receive 10 tickets and their V-patch for their
uniform
Passing a Gup Test
10 Tickets
Every
student who successfully completes their gup testing will receive 10
tickets
Attending
International Championships 10
Tickets
Every
student who participates in the international championships will
earn 10 tickets
