At Karate World, we believe that there is nothing more powerful than a sincere testimonial from a current or past student/client. We welcome you to read what our students/clients have to say about our family martial arts academy. We couldn’t have said it any better!
Karate World has a family friendly and fun learning environment and at the same time it is also a school that you can get serious martial arts training from. They offer a wide range of programs and program times so it can fit into any busy schedule. I take classes with my eight year old daughter and one of our favorite programs is their Leadership Program which has helped my daughter tremendously with her confidence.
The Leadership Program teaches the twelve leadership traits and much, much more. It has been wonderful for Grace; she is in the third grade now and has been recognized all through this school year for outstanding behavior. She is truly gaining skills that will be with her and benefit her for her entire life. It has also helped me with my career. I have become a better communicator and have learned how to set SMART goals that have helped me advance my career. It is much more than just punching and kicking, Karate World helps to teach life skills as well.
We started together in 2006 and it truly has been a wonderful experience that the whole family can participate in and experience together. This is a very family oriented school and there are as many parents as kids on the floor training. Me and my daughter have benefited a great deal and have met a whole new family of friends to share our journey with at Karate World.

For the past five years our family has had the opportunity to learn from and train with an incredibly knowledgeable, experienced, professional and generous group of people…the Karate World “family”. This group of instructors, students and parents, has demonstrated the qualities that it takes to allow for the proper environment to experience the martial art of Tang Soo Do. The atmosphere at Karate World invites participation and a safe environment to “step out of your comfort zone”. We have seen great growth in our children's abilities to concentrate, speak publicly, communicate well with others, to be aware of their surroundings, and yes, defend themselves if necessary. We are very happy we found Karate World and wouldn't think of training any where else.
Thank you Karate World....Tang Soo!!!

“Over the past three years my son and I have been training at Karate World we have had many great experiences. In this day and age, it is so nice to have positive role models that teach respect, self discipline and confidence. Learning these life lessons through martial arts has improved my son’s performance at school and helped me to overcome and grow from challenges at work. When I step into Karate World I know it is a safe place, where I can leave the stresses of the day at the door and focus on the physical and mental aspects of martial arts. There truly is a feeling of family, it has been and continues to be a very positive bonding experience.”
I hope this is what you are looking for. Please let me know if you need anything additional.
Thanks so much for all your help during candidacy class. I look forward to seeing you Wednesday.

The uplifting atmosphere of an established Martial Arts school is what we have enjoyed from our 5 1/2 years with Karate World. The time and masterful instruction from KJN St. James and SBN Jett to our family is unmatched by other schools. Completing their Certified Instructor Trainee Program has allowed me (Mark) to obtain my dream of being an instructor as well. It has also been a great benefit to our children of 10 and 6 with their grades, social attitude and respectful response towards others.

3 Black Belts and one on the way

My husband and I joined Karate World six years ago. Since that time, we have both grown in the martial arts. I know for myself, I have seen a complete change. I use to be someone who had no self confidence, and was afraid of so many things that were outside of my comfort zone, but since I have been with Karate World and been involved with their leadership program, everything has changed for me. I am more confident and I don't see new challenges as being scary. I look forward to them and relish in the learning experience. My husband and I have found and extended family that will go out of their way to help each other and expect nothing in return.
Also since joining Karate World, they have helped me achieve my goals of not only progressing through the ranks to my second degree black belt and now my testing for my third degree, but also becoming a certified instructor through their CIT program. I now have dreams bigger than ever, and I owe a lot of this to Karate World and their wonderful staff of instructors. Grandmaster St. James has been a pivotal role model in my progression in the martial arts and it is an honor to learn under someone who has the kind of knowledge and skill as he does. He always has time to help whenever he is asked, and I respect him so much. I would not be where I am today in the martial arts if it were not for him. Also, Master Debbie Jett has been a constant strength as well. She has helped me look at Martial Arts from a woman's perspective and has always been there to guide and push. Master Michael Jett is a wonderful technician and you can tell his love for the arts and is a wonderful inspiration to all of us striving to be better.
If you are looking for a Martial Arts home with a wonderful family atmosphere, than Karate World is the place for you. Come join us, you will never regret it, I know my husband and I haven't.

I was a student at Karate World for over seven (7) years. I can truly say that my experiences at that studio were very rewarding and productive.
I have heard it once said that, “Leaders are born not made.” At Karate World, I learned just the opposite; leaders are made by their conditioning and habits. Karate World emphasizes these traits by teaching their students self-discipline, self- respect, and more importantly, teaching how to lead yourself before leading others. They emphasize these traits even more in their nationally recognized Leadership Program.
One of the things that I remember well from my time at Karate World is how fun they made the training. The lessons are structured and disciplined and yet the learning environment is still fun. The instructors are great with kids and know how to bring out the best in all of their students, including myself.
Finally, I believe my training has rolled over to the real world. I have been able to use what I have learned in football camps (mentoring little ones), on the football field (commitment, passion, and courage), and even with the national honors society (improved focus and discipline). I also truly believe that Karate World has even helped me get into the college of my dreams. I say this as I learned what perseverance and stick-to-it-ness is all about at Karate World on my quest to become a first degree Black Belt. For all the above reasons, I therefore recommend Karate World as an excellent institution that combines family-oriented fun and professionalism into one martial arts studio.

I started training at Karate World in 2005 based on a recommendation from a friend. Although I had already trained in several other schools, I was immediately impressed with the attitude of Karate World. As one who had already studied for nine years, I respected the school’s focus on mental training in addition to the physical arts. Master St. James’ Leadership program has been enormously beneficial not only to my martial arts training but also to my other activities. Largely due to his careful instruction, I have been able to reach goals that I had not even defined before meeting him. I give him and his school my highest recommendation.

As a former student of Karate World in Suwanee, Georgia, I have nothing but positive experiences to mention. In the eleven years that I was at Karate World, I have changed completely. Often times students of leadership forget the roots of their learning in the midst of cramming several different lessons throughout the course of leadership enlightenment. I am fortunate enough to say that I remember the location of my initial foundation of such learning. I came to Karate World around the age of five and had a definite fear of other people. I hardly talked to anyone. Time passed, and as I grew older, I became more open to the people around me; however, I was not a true extrovert until one day in leadership class (Leader Quest). I was around the age of eleven, and Master St. James had picked a new exercise to teach us about public speaking. He claimed the rules were very simple: one of us had to come up to the front of our class, speak for five minutes extemporaneously on a topic that he would choose, and eschew the two phrases "like" and "um". He would then sit in the back of the room, and keep count of each time those words were repeated. Master St. James asked for volunteers, but no one volunteered themselves. The unresponsiveness of the class prompted Master St. James to "volunteer" someone himself. The lucky person just so happened to be me. I ambled to the front of the classroom, reluctant to torture the class with my stumbling words. Master St. James gave me the dreaded topic of talking about myself for five minutes (Trust me, giving biographical information about one's self for five minutes is easier said than done). After choking out the first two sentences that sounded as if I was speaking in a foreign language, I gained confidence. It was after those two initial sentences that I realized that I enjoyed speaking to the general public, and that I should no longer hide my true self from anyone.
It was with this type of leadership training that I molded my the first stepping stone of future. I had to opportunity to join the Gwinnett Student Leadership Team, and further cultivate the initial teachings of the Karate World Leadership Team. I have been able to speak to different groups of people, with varying ages. I am entering college at the George Washington University this fall, and I do not fear for one second that I will not succeed. Master St. James and Leader Quest have given me all the tools necessary for success in any part of this world. Although I am not physically a part of Karate World anymore, I still feel connected with Karate World mentally. This is a bond that cannot be broken by any physical barrier, and a bond that will live with me forever. I cannot thank Karate World and Leader Quest enough for helping in the process of shaping who I am today. Tang Soo!

Master Jett,
I wanted to express how significant our time in Black Belt Club is to us.
My son has taken classes at Karate World in Suwanee Georgia for almost two years now. He is Mister Focus when it comes to your school. After his first year, I signed up the whole family and my daughter and myself are hooked, too. We Enloes love it!
Karate World time is not just quality family time. It not only gives us a great work out and re-enforces very important principles, like discipline and respect, but also introduces key life strategies and mind sets that can only point toward success. My favorite is: "Goals you set are goals you get".
Karate World changed my family's and my life for the better. Thank you.
